Unbound Coffee & Bagels

My bf and I really loved this spot. The food, coffee and home-made mayo are super delish and well priced. You can really taste the quality in the hand-rolled bagels. Our waiter was extremely kind and when we just happened to mention that we were going to share a meal, he had gone out of his way to serve it to us on separate plates. Would definitely recommend for a nice coffee spot and a quick bite.

What an incredible cafe in Bloemfontein. Highly recommend! I was just passing through Bloem en route to Lesotho, and I had a very early start in the morning and dropped a message on the off chance I might be able to pick up breakfast and a coffee first thing in the morning at 7:00am so that I could have some breakfast before heading off. The service was incredible and the owner so kind; they were making my toastie even before I walked in the following morning. What service! The coffee and toastie were excellent and I very much appreciated them going the extra mile to do all of that just as they opened! Hope everyone who visits Bloem gets the chance to eat and drink at Unbound.

Definitely the best coffee shop in Bloem!! Went here for lunch with a friend and it was so lovely as its close to work. We tried the rooibos and apple and mint thing and it was delicious. Sadly the bagels were sold out but I tried the sourdough sandwich. My friend had a wrap. They took a bit long but all and all I still loved the experience

Great coffee shop. Fantastic ambience music and atmosphere. Coffee is probably some of the best in Bloemfontein and staff and owner is super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to find a two point adapter for my laptop charger when ai forgot mine. They also have great breakfasts, bagles and other food.

Found this gem of a cafe randomly and boy what a find! Delicious fresh bagels, my favorite has to be the classic “California” - cream cheese, salmon, avocado. But everything I have had has been fantastic. Coffee also nice, and service was friendly and quick. Parking is available either outside the cafe or on the street, and is in a quiet part of Westdene. Congratulations on an amazing business, it’s the type of cafe I would love to own one day. May it go from strength to strength!

Hands down my favorite coffee spot. The coffee? Absolutely perfect. The bagels? Fresh, warm, and dangerously good. But what really makes this place special is Andy — she’s the sweetest human, and her energy makes Unbound feel like more than just a coffee shop. It’s a whole experience. Whether you’re grinding through work, catching up with friends, or just vibing solo — Unbound hits the spot every time. Go once, and you’ll be hooked.

Really a wonderful gem of a place, great coffee and aesthetic. Perfect if you're planning a cosy event as well . The owners are also really chilled .
